Goals and Aspirations: I care deeply about bridging the digital divide. I want to spend my career making broadband available to every single American — rich or poor, black or white, rural or urban. As a White House staffer on President Biden’s National Economic Council, I worked to both implement and pass President Biden’s historic Infrastructure bill, which made record investments in broadband in rural areas. I want to use my business degree at Stanford to learn how we leverage public-private partnerships to expand broadband access in rural areas. I want to spend my career making broadband available for all Americans so we can win the 21st century. At Stanford, I’ll learn how to combine corporate and government forces to bring broadband to all Americans.
