Katie Curran is pursuing a Doctorate degree in Law with focus on Telecommunications and Policy at Harvard University Law School.

Goals and Aspirations: I intend to pursue a career in telecommunications and law. I am interested in the intersection of government and telecommunications policy. Studying these subjects has informed my career goals. As a Harvard Law student, I have taken classes focused on telecommunications and administrative law. I studied the legal history of how telephone companies have merged over time. This semester, I am studying current efforts to expand broadband access to Americans across the country. At the same time, I am very interested in making telecommunications accessible to individuals with disabilities. Community service is also integral to my goals.  I plan to volunteer throughout my life.
