The Wireless History Foundation is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization focused on chronicling the evolution of markets and technology, the contributions of numerous organizations, and the achievements of individuals, all of which fueled the growth of wireless communications in the United States and continue to expand the benefits of wireless services and products to society today.
The goals of the Wireless History Foundation are to:
- Connect – provide a forum for industry pioneers and participants to share experiences and expertise, and introduce a new generation of entrepreneurs and innovators to the wireless community.
- Preserve – collect materials reflecting the progression of wireless over the years and document the stories of participants in the industry’s evolution.
- Educate – provide research and information on the development of wireless technologies and services, the people who advanced and deployed them, and the events that shaped the growth of the wireless industry.
