The Wireless Hall of Fame Program provides public recognition of outstanding individuals across all segments of the wireless industry:
68 individuals have been inducted into this prestigious program since its inception in 2000. Current members represent ground-breaking achievements in all areas of technology, business, and public service. Eligibility for the Wireless Hall of Fame is based on an individual’s contributions to the advancement of wireless services, products, and programs.

Wireless Hall of Fame Inductees are honored in three categories:

of professional, operational, or business services to the wireless industry. This category would include attorneys, consultants, bankers, brokers, OSS representatives, public servants, association, and standards body leaders, but would not include individuals who make their significant contribution while an employee of an equipment supplier or carrier. - Pioneer Honoree –an individual from any industry segment who made a significant and demonstrable contribution to the wireless industry prior to 1996. Service Provider Honoree –an individual who has made a significant and demonstrable contribution as an employee or a wireless carrier or service provider.

The selection process:
To be considered for membership in the Hall of Fame, one must be nominated through a process that includes submission of a nomination form along with two supporting letters as endorsements of the candidate’s accomplishments. A selection committee consisting primarily of former Hall of Fame Honorees will evaluate and determine each year’s inductee class. The selection committee is chaired by a member of the Wireless Hall of Fame Board of Directors.
Detailed information, instructions, and documentation will be available on this site when nominations are open next year.
